ASK Helping Hand Brings Nourishment, Cleanliness, and Care to Bolisong Elementary School

On July 7, 2025, during the celebration of Araw ng Bolisong, the Alay Sa Kapwa Helping Hand Organization (ASK Helping Hand) conducted a meaningful day of service at Bolisong Elementary School—bringing together volunteers, students, and families for a full-day program dedicated to health, hygiene, education, and community care.

To kickstart the day, ASK Helping Hand’s feeding program warmed the hearts and stomachs of children and parents with a generous serving of chicken sopas, a hearty chicken macaroni soup that gave everyone the comfort and nourishment they needed.

Beyond food, the team also rolled up their sleeves for a school-wide clean-up drive. Volunteers:

🧹 Mowed overgrown grass

🦟 Fogged mosquito-infested classrooms

🧼 Cleaned the school premises thoroughly

Adding to the services provided, community members were treated to:

✂️ Free haircuts

💆 Free massage sessions for relaxation and wellness

The event also highlighted the importance of early education through ASK Helping Hand’s Education Department, which held a reading program specially designed to engage young learners and encourage a love for reading.
