ASK Helping Hand Brings Joy Through Two-Day Feeding Program at Araw ng Kinoguitan 2025
Kinoguitan, Misamis Oriental – August 8–9, 2025 – In celebration of the Araw ng Kinoguitan 2025, ASK Helping Hand successfully carried out a two-day community feeding program that nourished both body and spirit. The event served as a platform to promote unity, tradition, and service while offering the community a taste of local culinary favorites.
The initiative was the result of weeks of preparation, beginning last month with planning sessions, budgeting, procurement of ingredients, and volunteer coordination. Every step was guided by ASK Helping Hand’s mission to empower communities through sustainable development, compassion, and active engagement.
Day 1 – Refreshing Treats After the Civic Parade
On August 8, following the vibrant and colorful Araw ng Kinoguitan parade, ASK Helping Hand volunteers distributed warm bowls of traditional binignet and cups of fresh buko juice. The comforting flavors provided much-needed refreshment to participants and spectators after the morning’s activities.
Day 2 – Serving at the Invitational Motocross Competition
On August 9, the feeding program continued at the Invitational Motocross Competition, where the excitement of roaring engines met the warmth of community service. Attendees once again enjoyed servings of binignet and buko juice, keeping spirits and energy levels high throughout the event.
